Behind our tagline—Teeming Waters. Endless Journeys—are founders Jeff and Gina Paglialonga, lifelong adventurers and high school sweethearts whose passion for travel has shaped both their lives and their business.
Having visited all seven continents and sailed on more than 50 ocean and river cruises, Jeff and Gina's love of exploration naturally led them into the travel industry more than 20 years ago. They first founded Teeming Vacation Rentals, a company recognized six consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies. Building on that success, they launched Teeming River Cruises in 2017 with a simple mission: make European river cruising more accessible, flexible, and affordable.
After returning from a European river cruise in 2016, Jeff and Gina recognized a gap in the market. River cruising was often perceived as expensive and overly structured, with tightly scheduled group excursions and little room for independent discovery.
They envisioned a different approach—one that offered travelers freedom instead of flags, choices instead of choreography. From that vision, Teeming River Cruises was born.
Our full-ship charter model focuses on securing unsold sail dates throughout the year, allowing us to deliver exceptional value without compromising the experience. Guided by our philosophy—Follow the River, Not the Flag—we believe the best journeys come when freedom is unbundled.
True to its name, Teeming River Cruises offers an abundance of options for modern, independent travelers. Guests may explore entirely on their own or add experiences that suit their interests—without paying for what they don't want.

Married for nearly 40 years, University of Florida graduates, parents of four, and proud grandparents of five, Jeff and Gina have built their lives around faith, family, and fun—the same foundation that guides their company. Much of their own travel has been aboard ships, from the Caribbean and Mediterranean to Antarctica and the Amazon.
