The heart of social life on board is the bright, inviting panoramic lounge and bar on the upper deck. Large windows flood the space with natural light and frame ever-changing views of Lake Kariba and the African bush.
Here you can relax with a coffee in the morning, enjoy a perfectly mixed cocktail at sunset, or simply sit with binoculars (available on loan) and watch elephants, hippos or rare birds appear along the shoreline.

Dining aboard the African Dream is an integral part of the safari experience. The panoramic restaurant on the upper deck seats all 16 guests in an intimate, elegant setting with sweeping views of the lake and shoreline.
Meals showcase the best of regional African flavours combined with European refinement — fresh lake fish, local produce, expertly prepared dishes and carefully selected wines. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served here, turning every meal into a celebration of the journey.
Whether you’re watching a herd of elephants at the water’s edge while enjoying lunch or toasting a spectacular African sunset over dinner, the restaurant becomes one of the most memorable spaces on board.
On the upper deck you’ll find a small, refreshing pool — the perfect place to cool off after a morning of wildlife watching. Just steps away, the sun deck (rooftop) offers unobstructed 360° views of Lake Kariba and the surrounding wilderness.
